Halloween--Trunk or Treat!!

After an afternoon at the exchange, getting the matching uniform to Daddy's. And a trip to the mall to get black boots, Harland is complete. After breaking off a piece to his Storm Trooper uniform, he decided he wanted to get his "uniform" early. He was going to get it for the "BIG" day. However, Harland gets more use out of it this way. And, I have already been informed--I am sleeping in this tonight mommy. He says, I have to put it on again in the morning, so I am just saving time by sleeping in it. I do have a funny feeling I am going to have to peel this child out of his uniform.

Caroline, is once again a cheerleader. This is the 3rd year in a row, but she has changed it up some each year. This year has been tagged--Dead Vampire Cheerleader. But, after tomorrow, it WILL be retired.

Here are a few pictures from a Trunk or Treat that we went to tonight. This seems to be the way everyone is going instead of actual door to door trick or treating.

P.S. Daddy, he will not be wearing white socks tomorrow. He needed some crew socks and white was all we could find quickly!

HAPPY EARLY HALLOWEENEY!!!!!!!!

Harland's Game

Harland had a great game today. His team won. Not sure of the score, but Harland said, 7-0. I am thinking that may not be to far off. They were awesome. He only has 2 games left in this season. I really hope he decides to play in the spring!!!

It's amazing how many kids play in the grass, look at the sky and keep hands in pockets. But, at least there will be no hand balls!!!

Driver Days

Harland and his future friend...Beaureguard..
Yucky Pumpkins
Ready for the ride to start

Let's go for a ride!!!

End of the Llama ride.
We went to Driver Days today. When we first got there, Llama rides in the parking lot. Caroline jumped right on and took two spins around, Harland was a different story. He wanted nothing to do with that animal. Then right beside the parking lot were monster truck rides. I was not able to get any pictures during the ride, but the smile on Harland's face was priceless. Then the pumpkins, I guess we did not have to go any further than the parking lot. The kids were in heaven and saw everything they wanted to see and do in a matter of 15 steps. Then we came across this wonderful Great Dane, (Harland's future best friend) he was absolutely gorgeous. He is five years old and was wonderful with everyone walking up to him and petting him. I asked his owner if Harland could pet him and she agreed. And she was telling us, how great the breed is with kids and that just talked Harland into him even more. By the end of the kids wanting all these animals, we will have a small farm here!! Let's just see how this plays out with Daddy, when he gets home.

Caroline and Uncle James

Caroline and Katie
James brought home some "fireworks" from North Carolina. We set them off before the storm hit tonight. The kids loved the sparklers, cap guns, and bomb throws. They had such a great time. He also brought home some awesome Pigman's BBQ, coleslaw, hush puppies, and beans. We all say, Thanks Uncle James"!! It was the best I think I have had in a very long time.
