Sibling Love

They do love each other. Every morning we go outside and check the temperature and they will decided what to wear. This morning I had to wait to get this shot of course, until they were dressed. They found a turtle (they have named Sheldon) a while back and this morning he reappeared from hibernation or whatever they call it for reptiles. They have been anxiously waiting for him to appear and this was the day!!!!

I don't remember this....but I think it is hilarious!! He must be having some weird dream because his fists are clenched up tight. Hope you enjoy!!

Just Found....

Egg Hunt
I just found these pictures on my camera this morning, we went to an egg hunt at a church one of the kids I watch goes to. The kids had a wonderful time and I even brought Jalen (another one I watch) to the hunt. He just kinda looked at the eggs, but my kids knew exactly what to do. I think Caroline walked away 52 eggs and Harland 51 respectfully.

Host and Hostess

Tonight, I am having the neighborhood Woman's Club meeting at my house. The kids are usually at a sitters (aka Granddad) but, since it is here I am letting them stay. So they thought it would be appropriate for them to become presentable. I just love this shot of Caroline doing her hair and yes, you do see a curling iron. And even Harland who loves to where jeans with holes and t shirts, decided to blow me away and put on a collared shirt and khakis. I just love this age!!!

Easter...a little late

Sorry, I am so late in posting pictures. The kids had a little egg hunt at the house, compliments of the big furry guy. It was so crazy here that day. It was the only day Henry had off with my brother and Dad. So they spent the morning and post of the afternoon installing appliances. I did manage to keep everyone together long enough to take this shot. The kids really enjoyed getting their baskets and hunting both in and out for eggs. After dinner, we all sat down and watched two of their newest movies, Marley and Me and Bedtime Stories. Both were awesome movies. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!

White Vinegar

I have just discovered the use of white vinegar for stainless steel. Just put some on a paper towel and wipe it down. I was absoultly amazed!!! It took off all the grime of kiddies hands and leaves a nice smell and shine.

Just thought that I would pass this along.

Calamari

Caroline and Harland eating one of their favorite dishes.....Calamari!!! I don't know where they got this taste acquirement from!? This was at Baker's Crust and I read them all the kids menu and then started with the appetizers and that is all they wanted.

Easter Bunny

On Saturday, we went to Williamsburg. When we stopped at the Yankee Candle store, the Easter Bunny was there. They had to jump on that opportunity!! I was really not prepared for this since, they did not have on Easter outfits. But, I bit the bullet and bought the picture of them hugging the bunny. It did not come out on my camera, but that was my favorite so I had to get it. They had such a good time there, it was hard to get them out!!

Book Store

Junie B Jones

On Friday night, we went to the mall. The kids always ask to go to the "library" aka book store. I allowed the kids to each pick out a book. Caroline is into reading chapter books, her favorite is the Junie B. Jones series. I think she has already read half the book!!! Harland just loves any type of book, this time he picked one on Sharks. He just looks at the pictures though. He is almost reading fluently!!!
