Harland's second season started today. He played very well. He received a very good base season last year and this year, it's time to step it up a notch. Very proud of him and they played a great game. Final score--0-1. Better luck next game.

Caroline's First Game

Warm-ups begin

Last picture before game starts

Only time she was on the bench

Go United!!

Good Defense Caroline!!

Lots of standing around...

and more.

Finally some action!!
Caroline had her first game of the Spring season today. This is her first time playing soccer and she is loving it. The coach has put her in defense as right full back. Her team--United, has an awesome coach and he keeps both the kids and parents in line. Caroline is so blessed to have Coach Ed her first year. And to make the first game memorable -- they won 1-0!!!!

Christmas Morning

Instead of posting every picture of the kids opening gifts, I have only added a few. I did try to upload a video of the kids opening their new laptops, but for some reason it won't let me upload it. The faces on the kids were priceless. And needless to say, they have been very active on them. There may be timers placed on computer time, so that I can actually spend time with my kids.

Like Father like Son

I thought these 2 men deserved their own posting. Harland was in the middle of talking with all of us, took off his shirt and plopped on the floor next to Daddy and stayed like that for quite a while.

Daddy's Home!!!!!!!

Henry finally made it home after 7 long months at sea!!! It was beyond freezing at the pier that day, but it was well worth the numbness of the cold. We brought home Daddy that day!!!

Mike and Michelle

It was a very good night after we got Henry home. We had a few people over for food and drinks. And, we all caught up with Henry and his stories. The kids were glued to Henry all day and night. They were so happy to have him back. It was like I was not even here. I guess 7 months with only mommy was enough for them.

Hunt Club Farms

Happy Holidays

Last night, I took the kids to Hunt Club Farms in Virginia Beach. They enjoyed the Winter Wonderland, Petting Farm, Candy Cane Maze, and the big finale....Bon Fire Smores followed by Hot Chocolate. They were so excited to see a new place. This is the first time we have been there for Christmastime. And, I must say we will go back. The kids loved the bon fire at the end and they really enjoyed the playground that was smack in the middle of all the activites. I had to remind them we could play on the any playground, but I had to pay for all the other things we were enjoying. The kids are getting in the holiday spirit, and it will surely be visible when Daddy gets home. We can't wait for the big day!!

Harland's Trophy Presentation

Harland's soccer season has come to an end. He was so excited to be part of such an awesome team. The end of the year party was held at Chuck E Cheese and each player was given a trophy. Harland received his and was looking at it and says--"Mom, it has the fourth at the end, how did they know that?" His face was priceless. He also told the coach that his dad was coming home soon and he was going to help out for the next season. So, hurry home Henry!!
